The Nigerian Born UK based Gospel act Toluwanimee is truly a psalmist
and minstrel. Her large repertoire of musical style has distinguished
her. she is truly committed to her vision and passion to compel and
usher the nations into Gods presence.
Toluwanimee describes her inspiration for “Miracle God” as a personal
experience of a need for a miracle.
she says:
“Having been away from my 3 children (my last only 8 months) and hubby
for more than a year studying in the UK and losing my sister to an
automobile accident in same period. I was struggling with too many
changes and being termed a failure because it wasn't looking good for
me at all. I needed a miracle if not my 18months would have been a
total waste. All I could do was worship on the 20th floor in my cold
room and I desperately cried and asked God for a miracle, I sang
Glowreeyah Braimah’s Miracle Worker a lot day in day out on different
occasions. After a period I found myself pulling out new sounds and
songs of trust and total reliance on God’s absolute ability to bring
me out of the struggle i daily passed through. Among other songs I
heard my self saying “you are, you are, you are a miracle worker and
the verse flowed through I quickly grabbed my phone and recorded and
that was it “
