He started music at Ethan youth for Christ, a Christian youth ministry where he got the platform to learn and do music as a teenager. He wrote Ethan's annual camp anthems consistently for 14 years.
rocksKING loved Oyibo (Western) music and his earliest songs like You Do All Things Well had totally English styles and lyrics. He had some latin feels like Champion and Give You My Best. He's now 'coming back home' with his originality in songs like Onye Dika Gi and Nduru (Let Your Glory Fall) and a several others.
Nathaniel Bassey and Tim Godfrey now inspire him. Other influences include Asa and J-moss.
