Soulful”, “Captivating”, “Phenomenal”, and ”Amazing” were the words to describe Veronica Evans when she appeared as a finalist of the televised national talent search contest, Star Search. They are the same words, twenty-five years later, that critics and listeners have used to describe Veronica Evans’s latest album, Beautiful King. Beautiful King was recorded live and is a God-inspired project, which debuts a new Kingdom voice and a new sound for a new age! Veronica Evans’ CD pops with the sound of a Contemporary Christian beat, with just the right fusion of Gospel music and slight insertions of jazz. Veronica’s own rich, powerful, booming alto voice and songs will immediately draw you into the core of God’s Word while introducing you to a new sound and igniting your heart for more of the presence of the Lord.

Beautiful King is a compilation of son meticulously penned by Veronica over a span of eight years and birthed out of various seasons, experiences and prophetic words from God. Each track is led by this anointed singer/songwriter, composer, author and musician in a way that captures and inspires even the faintest of hearts. The experiences of these songs range from personal devotions to personal controversies to personal revelations.

The Beautiful King CD Release event will take place May 19, 2018, at Hope Café, 201 E. Tryon Road in Raleigh, NC. The glory falls at 7:00PM. Seating is free, but guests should plan on getting there early. Jerry Smith, a leading radio personality in Raleigh/Durham from The Light 103.9 will be the host for the evening with a guest appearance from National Recording Artist, Kim Person. To date, Veronica has released three CD projects. She is an accomplished singer, songwriter, musician and composer. Veronica is also passing on this legacy to her sixteen-year-old prodigy son, Zion, who played drums on every song in Beautiful King. This anointed psalmist and minstrel recently released two singles from Beautiful King titled Captured and Year of the Open Door which are currently being played locally and nationall Veronica has also been able to leverage her past experience as a finalist on Star Search to create and cultivate her own unique sound and appeal to a multiplicity of audiences in the United States and abroad.

Aside from debuting Beautiful King in 2018, Veronica has also written and published a number of inspirational books, including Your Identity in Christ, which has a wide and favorable reception. Prior to creating and singing her own music, Veronica sang background for Billboard chart-topping gospel artists, William Becton and the legendary, late Daryl Coley, for whom she sang background on his last CD project, Oh the Lamb.
