#1) 1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)- “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms.” God has blessed you so that you may help others. If you use what you have been given selfishly, you are not living out God’s will for your life.
#2) Philippians 2:3 (ESV)- “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.” Don’t treat others kindly just to advance your own cause. Show them genuine love, because they are just as valuable to God as you are.
#3) Colossians 3:12 (NIV)- “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” Treat everyone around you with patience, compassion, and a forgiving spirit, for that is how they will know you are a child of God.
#4) Hebrews 13:16 (ESV)- “Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.” If you have more than you need, give some away to those less fortunate. God will smile on you when you smile on others.
