Happy Anniversary! Gospel Singer Erica Campbell’s ‘Get Up Mornings’ Radio Show Turns One Year Old Today.
Time flies. It seems like no more than a few weeks have passed since a major radio shakeup happened at Urban One, formerly known as Radio One.
But a full year has gone by since Get Up! Mornings with Erica Campbell replaced The Yolanda Adams Morning Show on the national syndication circuit. And the milestone has the show’s host in full celebration mode.
“Thank y’all for rocking with us,” said Campbell, 45, in an Instagram video to her fans live from the studio festively decorated with twirls and balloons.
“I’m excited! I’m happy that I have this opportunity to talk to y’all every single morning. It is awesome!” said the GRAMMY® Award-winning gospel singer whose program, distributed by Reach Media, is broadcast on 38 stations throughout the country.
“I hope you’re listening,” Campbell continued as she tooted her show's horn a bit, adding, “It’s the bomb.”
