“Are you a believer that comes on social media to negatively criticize and condemn God’s kingdom, His Ministers and church? Please repent. No one is saying you can’t air your views. But in doing so, do so with respect and discretion. If you have to do so. Social media has helped and impacted us in many great ways. But it has got quite a number of draw backs too.
One of them is giving people, sometimes, a false sense of freedom and audacity to write and say things they won’t normally write or say.I’ve seen believers join in on threads by unbelievers to ridicule God’s servants and church. Remember you are part of God’s family. And even in natural families, you don’t join forces with foreigners to fight your family. You support and strengthen your family even when there are issues. And then work things out internally.
And if you think that coming online to write just anything is without its consequences, please think again. Many of those who write those things won’t tell you they go behind to apologize when they start seeing the consequences. When you see folks attacking God’s people on line, just ignore them. Don’t comment, post or repost what you don’t fully understand. Even when we fail in certain areas, we must acknowledge our faults, repent and help each other up again, than tearing down. This is not some attempt to turn people into zombies. I.e, to not speak out when things aren’t well. Or follow blindly. It’s just a call to exercise discretion in the way that we do it.
God bless you all Saints. Have a great week ahead.”
