'I Can’t Wait For Davido And Wizkid to Proclaim And Confess Jesus as Thei.r Lord and Saviour’ ~ Tim Godfrey.
Award-wining gospel singer and Nigeria's top gospel act, Tim Godfrey , has said he wished Davido and Wizkid would ‘proclaim and confess Jesus as their Lord Saviour’, after the duo put their differences aside and made up at Wizkid’s recent concert that took place at Eko Convention Center in Lagos.
It must be recalled that Davido and Wizkid, Nigeria’s top two music stars, had a riff at the just-concluded One Africa Music Festival in Dubai, after it was reported that their crews fought one another back stage.
Plus, there have been rumours of both stars keeping malice with each other, though Wizkid recently stated he had no rivalry with Davido and was, instead, focused on his career.
Godfrey, however, wishes that beyond the show of forgiveness between these two, they would actually turn their lives over to Christ and be a ‘blessing to the world.’
He Wrote;
“These guys… one thing that I know and I’m sure is that Love will always triumph over hate…. But more importantly… I can’t wait for both of them to proclaim and confess Jesus as their Lord and Savoir. Yet be who they are … and keep being a blessing to the world. Love you brothers… WizKid and Davido…. Brothers forLyfe”
